Last night we were phoning lapsed members, inviting them to renew their membership. Those who declined were asked to indicate why, with a variety of tick boxes for the volunteers making the calls to choose from. Europe, same sex marriage, too old or ill, etc. You get the drift. There was also a space at the bottom of the list for "other".
Working through the pile of responses this morning, we came across this gem
In case you struggle to read it, it says
"Thinks there is far too much recreational sex, resulting in population growth,

So there you have it. I am used to members dying, moving into care homes, opposing SSM, immigration or Europe, but having someone resign because David Cameron hasn't banned recreational sex must be a first.
