Mrs Duck has finally hatched her eggs - and at the time of writing five or six ducklings are snuggled underneath her, in our plant pot. According to our neighbour they started hatching this afternoon. In total she laid 18 eggs, but I fear many may have died as they were laid before the last bout of frost. I don't want to get too close as she understandable gets very nervous and stressed if anyone approaches, but I will post photographs as soon as I am able to do so!
