Above and Beyond the Call of Duty

The Mayor and Mayoress of Tonbridge and Malling spent a rare morning away from civic duties packing raffle tickets at West Kent Towers. Is there no end to the glamour?  But what's worse - only half way through did they inform me that it was their Wedding Anniversary!  I pushed out the boat and bought them both a bacon baguette. It was the least I could do
