Ann Barnes takes to the road in search of her new Youth Police Commissioner

Following the debacle over the appointment of Paris Brown, Kent's wholly independent, (certainly not a Lib Dem) Police & Crime Commissioner, Ann Barnes, has taken to visiting the far flung corners of the county in search of new applicants.

She is seen here with potential applicants in Sherwood who, whilst not quite fitting within the age range, would certainly not be found posting racist profanity on their social media sites.

Potential Youth PCC applicant David Elliott (64) of Southborough said, "we're all younger than she is."  Another hopeful, Bob Backhouse (50) of Sherwood commented, "she said she wants someone with independence of mind - well if Mrs Barnes can claim to be independent, so can we."
